The second retake of the mid-term exam will open at 9:00 AM on the 5th June. (The normal mid-term exam and the first retake have opened at 8:30.) I will be there on the MS Teams Mid-term channel during the retake. You may attend this retake even without being registered in the Neptun system.
The review of the evaluation of the retake will be held on the MS Teams Mid-term channel at 3:00 PM on the Monday, 8th June.

Based on a special examination rule for this semester, there will be a second retake of the mid-term exam. It will be held on Friday, the 5th June 9:00. For this second retake, a registration in the Neptun system is required (before the 4th June 12:00 PM).

System Modelling 2020: Submission deadlines fo the mandatory and optional homework assignments

Based on a special examination rule for this semester, the submission site of the mandatory homework assignments will be opened a third time on the 28th May, in the evening hours. The submission deadline of this late-late-submission will be the 2nd June 11:59 PM.

The submission deadline of the optional extra homework (testing, Cucumber) will be the 1st June 11:59 PM. You can submit your work by uploading it through the Moodle system (edu.vik.bme.hu).

System Modelling 2020: Mid-term exam retake

The retake of the mid-term exam will be held on the 29th May from 8:15 AM. The rules are the same as at the mid-term exam. If you start an attempt (by pressing the "Attempt quiz now" button), than you are retaking the mid-term exam. If you retake the mid-term exam, than the result of it will replace your result from the mid-term exam. (A special rule for this semester is that if you have already passed the mid-term exam, than you will get at least 40% of the points for the retake, i.e. you cannot fail by trying to improve your result.)

System Modelling 2020: Mock mid-term exam

A mock mid-term exam is published at the Moodle system of the Faculty. Please try the platform, because the real mid-term exam will be held on the same system. In the "General Information" part of the mock exam a lot of useful information about the mid-term exam is to be found. This Moodle system is not able to handle graphs and models, therefore we will not ask you to enter models in your answers. But we will ask a lot about models that you can draw for yourself (with a traditional pencil on a sheet of paper) based on the description in the given task. Read more »

System Modelling 2020: Optional Extra Homework (Cucumber)

The optional extra homework is functional testing of the chess clock that you have modelled for your mandatory home assignment.

You have to write test cases (Scenario), which define sequences of inputs (pushing buttons), or sometimes even time settings, and expected outputs (display contents, peep tons) for your chess clock. At the end of each test case (and whenever meaningful, even within the sequences) the outputs must be checked. The test cases have to run successfully on your chess clock, at the end. Read more »

System Modelling 2020: Replacing the exercise on the 12th/13th March

The exercise on the 12th/13th March was not held (because of the extra rectoral holidays). As a replacement of that, a video recording of the exercise (presenting and discussing the solution) will be published soon. You will be asked to watch the video and read the solution document of the exercise alone. Please do that before the 3rd exercise.
