ERCIM/DECOS/MOGENTES workshop in Wien

The ERCIM/DECOS/MOGENTES workshop was held on Sep. 14, 2010, as a satellite event of the SAFECOMP 2010 conference. At the event Balázs Polgár and András Kövi presented some of the MOGENTES project contributions of BME: the tool integration platform and results of the qualitative fault modeling research. The corresponding short paper short paper is attached to this news item.

Besides the MOGENTES topics, results from other projects were also presented. Inter alia about lane level car navigation support systems (NAV-CAR project), intelligent, self-aware devices, high performance, retina-scan camera systems (ADOSE project), remote maintenance of offshore windfarms, a high precision Time Management Unit and the importance of standardization in the embedded  world. Therefore, the workshop was a good opprtunity to peer into the widespread areas of the ERCIM international organization. The ERCIM aims to facilitate collaboration between research institutes in the ICT field and its Hungarian member is the MTA SZTAKI research institute.

The event was hosted in the picturesque Schönbrunn palace.
