Presentation on an industrial research project of the department is on-line available

The DMIS of BME in cooperation with Optxware Ltd. elaborated an algorithm for the prediction of production at  IBM Data Storage Systems based on historical order data complemented  with a simulation and impact analysis envronment for evaluating production optimization solutions.

Prof. Dr. Pataricza András held a presentation in the framework of the lecture series "Road into the future-dialog for boosting the economy"' co-organized by the Hungarian Society for Economics and  IBM Hungary. The presentation entitled "Modelling, prediction  and simulation for optimization of production" was co-authored by  dr. Gábor Horváth, dr. Béla Pataki, Kristóf Gáti, István Szombath, Ákos Horváth  (BME DMIS), dr. György Csertán, László Gönczy, Szilvia Varró-Gyapay (Optxware) and Zoltán Matisa, Gábor Gregus, Ferenc Tóth, Iván Veres, Ferenc Fajkusz with contribution of many others (IBM DSS).
