PhD student participation at ISOTDAQ 2014

Our PhD student Ágnes Salánki won the right to participate in ISOTDAQ 2014 - 5th International School of Trigger and Data Acquisition. The school was held between January 28 and February 5 at the Wigner Data Center (Budapest), the "second heart" of the  LHC Worldwide Computing Grid.

The participants of the school were selected in a highly competitive process. During the course, leading experts from CERN gave an in-depth introduction to the theory and engineering methodology of data gathering and processing in cases where the technical requirements surpass the usual industrial practice by very wide margins. One of the leading Hungarian news portals, index.hu also covered the event.
