Most Influential Paper Award at VL/HCC 2016 conference

We are glad to announce that the paper co-authored by G. Varró, A. Schürr and D. Varró on Benchmarking for graph transformation published at VL/HCC 2005 received a Most Influential Paper Award last week at the IEEE Symposium on Visual Languages and Human-Centric Computing (VL/HCC 2016).

This annual award of the VL/HCC Steering Committee recognizes those papers published 10(+/-1) years ago which had the most significant scientific influence on advancing the research field.

Our paper was first to propose a technique for assessing and comparing the scalability of graph transformation tools. This way, it was a precursor for the Transformation Tool Contest (organized for the 9th time in 2016), which aims to compare the performance of state-of-the-art model transformation tools.
