Presentation at the Modeling Symposium of EclipseCon 2017

Our research group has presented the Gamma framework at the Modeling Symposium of EclipseCon 2017. Gamma is a Statechart Composition Framework to model, verify and generate code for component-based reactive systems. The framework builds on Yakindu, an open source statechart modeling tool and provides an additional modeling layer to instatiate a communicating network of statecharts. Compositionality is hierarchical, which facilitates the creation of reusable component libraries.

MoDeS3 demo at EclipseCon 2017

Our research group participated at the EclipseCon Europe 2017, where they presented the MoDeS3 project at the IoT Playgorund. The physical system was set up at the University in Budapest, while the participants in Ludwigsburg could watch the video stream from the camera and also a web-based control software was provided.

Third price at the Eclipse Open IoT Developer Challenge

The Open IoT Developer Challenge is an annual challenge organized by the Eclipse IoT Working Group of EclipseCon North America and sponsored by bitreactive, Eurotech, MicroEJ, Red Hat, and Zolertia. Participants are given three months to create an innovative IoT solution using open source software and open standards.

IoT Challgenge blog is available

Our research group participates in the Eclipse IoT Challenge, the blog introducing our work is available here.

Interview with our former student in the german Eclipse Magazine

The german Eclipse Magazin has published an interview with our former student, Donát Csikós, who is now working at CERN. Among a lot of interesting details about his job, he also mentioned our research group and the EMF-IncQuery project. The online version can be found at the following links: german original, english translation by Google. Read more »

Presentation of EMF-IncQuery at EclipseCon Europe 2012

Representing our research group, Dr. István Ráth has presented the new version of our open source incremental model query framework called EMF-IncQuery at EclipseCon Europe 2012, intended for industrial applications. As an acknowledgement of our work, Ed Merks (the creator of the de-facto industry standard Eclipse Modeling Framework) has lauded EMF-IncQuery as one of the most significant innovations of recent times.
