VL/HCC 2011 conference in Pittsburgh
The VL/HCC sympsium (IEEE Symposium on Visual Languages and Human-Centric Computing) was hosted by Pittsburgh (PA) between September 18-22. Established in 1984, the mission of the conference is to support the design, theory, application and evaluation of computing technologies and languages for programming, modeling and communicating, which are easier to learn, use, and understand by people. Some of the companies participating in the conference are National Instruments (LabView), Microsoft, Northwoods, and AgentSheets.
Ábel Hegedüs presented our scientific paper, about generating quick fixes for domain-specific modeling languages, similarly to existing approaches in programming environments. Moisés C. Branco (University of Waterloo), who is a co-author along with Ákos Horváth, István Ráth and Dániel Varró, also participated in the conference.
